Over the course of my career, I began to notice a pattern.

Many people talk about access; access to opportunity, access to capital, access to leadership roles, access to rooms where decisions are made.

But access alone does not determine success.

Preparation does.

Early in my career I secured over a million dollars in contracts, but quickly realized something many people experience: getting the opportunity and being prepared for it are two very different things.

That realization became the foundation for what I now call The Readiness Standard™;  a framework that explores the difference between potential and preparation, and the systems required to move from one to the other.

Today, that framework shapes my speaking, teaching, and leadership work.

Because opportunity without readiness often leads to frustration, but readiness changes everything.
