Meet Talia

I didn’t grow up planning to work in Infrastructure or Economic systems.

I didn’t start on stages.

I started at 12 years old, braiding hair in my neighborhood and realizing I was running a business before I knew what entrepreneurship meant. I calculated that I was making more than minimum wage, with almost no overhead, and that lesson stayed with me.

Later, I worked alongside my father in his plumbing and HVAC company, helping grow a 24-hour service operation from the basement up. I learned work ethic, discipline, customer service, and what it meant to build something that feeds families.

But my path wasn’t polished.

I was a young single mother. I moved apartment to apartment. I doubted myself. I walked into rooms where no one looked like me; young, Black, eccentric, ambitious and I felt the pressure to shrink just to survive.

I built a construction company out of necessity after watching plumbers open walls and leave gaps behind. I became the company that closed them.

I learned government contracts.
I pursued certifications.
I failed.
I rebuilt.
I grew.

And somewhere along the way, I realized:

Preparation is power.

That’s why I do this work.

What I Do Today

Today, I work at the intersection of leadership, business, infrastructure, and identity.

The Hard Lesson

My journey hasn’t been smooth.

I built my first construction company by stepping into a gap no one else wanted to close. I entered a male-dominated industry as a young Black woman and quickly learned that skill alone does not shield you from doubt or pressure.

I overworked.
I shrank.
I tried to prove I belonged.

And I failed.

More than once.

Failure taught me something success never could.

Confidence fades.
Preparation holds.

ABOUT US

Why I Do This Work

Today, I operate at the intersection of infrastructure, identity, and access.

I prepare leaders to walk into rooms ready.

From executive forums to women’s leadership summits, from industry stages to statewide policy dialogue, I translate complex systems into practical strategy.

Because access without structure fades.

Opportunity without execution wastes potential.

Readiness changes everything.

But more than titles, I help people build structure behind their ambition.

Because inspiration without execution leads to frustration.
